The Charlottetown Airport has a number of services available right in our terminal; just one more way of providing the travelling public with more service, more choice, and more ways to make your trip hassle-free.

Airport Restaurant

Provides quick meals, various snacks, soup and sandwiches. Meals may be pre-ordered by phone for pick-up without delay. Meals may be ordered on-line at www.airmeal.ca to take on your flight. Vending machines are available when the restaurant is closed. A Snack Bar is located in the Security Hold Room for snacks to take on the aircraft.

Business Centre
The Business Centre is located in a separate area, adjacent to the seating area, providing free internet access, a fax machine and a phone with computer hook-up. This area is provided as a joint venture by Eastlink, Perry Office Interiors, Aliant and the Charlottetown Airport Authority.

Wireless Internet Service (WIFI)
Wireless Internet Service is available in the Air Terminal Building. This Aliant Hotspot is provided free for Aliant High-Speed Internet customers. For others, the rate is $7.50 per hour or $13.50 for a 24 hour period. Access to the airport authority's web site (flypei.com) is free.

Tourism Display
Adjacent to the arrivals gate is a tourism display provided by the Government of Prince Edward Island. It contains an information desk staffed with a tourism representative in the busy summer season. Included is a year-round direct line to Tourism P.E.I., as well as a computer with free Internet access. The annual Visitor’s Guide, the Prince Edward Island Highway Map and various other brochures in both official languages are available.

The area has several free standing displays featuring Island primary products, industries, and assorted samples of Island crafts, books, and clothing available at Island craft shops.

ATM
An ATM machine is located in the terminal building, adjacent to the Commissionaire’s Booth.

Dollar Bill Changer
A dollar bill changer is available in the terminal building adjacent to the Commissionaire’s Booth, providing change for fives. tens and twenties.

Vending Machines
Vending machines are available adjacent to the restaurant providing snacks, and hot and cold drinks.

FIDS
A Flight Information Displays System (FIDS) provides real time arrival and departure information throughout the terminal building. Monitors are located at the arrivals area at Gate 3, the departures area, just past the check-in counters, the central seating area and in the restaurant. This information is also available at our web site www.flypei.com.

Washrooms
Washrooms are located behind the Rent-a-Car Booths, at Gate 3 in the arrivals area and in the security hold-room. Behind the Rent-a-Cars Booths, the unisex washroom is wheel chair accessible and has a baby change table. The lady’s washroom is also equipped with a baby change table. The men’s washroom there is not wheel chair accessible, but the one at Gate 3 is. At Gate 3 the men’s and lady’s washrooms are both wheel chair accessible and have baby change tables. In the Security hold-room, there are two washrooms, both wheel chair accessible.

Telephones
Telephones are situated throughout the terminal building, including a bank of phones in front of the Commissionaire’s Booth, one in the security hold room, and one in the Business Centre. All accept credit cards and have volume control handsets, and several are situated lower on the wall for ease of access.

One phone in the bank of phones is fitted with a teletypewriter. Two phones in the bank of phones are direct dialed to a service that provides bilingual assistance in French and English.

A direct phone line to the licenced taxi operator is located at the arrivals door.

Also at the arrivals door is a direct line to various hotels listed on the directory board. Input the number assigned to each hotel and the call goes automatically to the hotel.

Mail Box
Canada Post mail boxes are provided between the Gift Shop and the Business Centre.

Assessible Transportation
Transportation for persons in wheelchairs or those requiring such assistance is available through Pat and the Elephant at (902) 894-3339. Advance arrangements are required. For more information see their website at www3.pei.sympatico.ca/pat.e./public_html.

Wheelchair compatible vans are also available from Donna's Transport Ltd. at (902) 436-3394 Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Advance notice is required.

Car rental agencies at the airport can arrange for a vehicle with hand controls with 24 hours or more advance notice prior to the vehicle being delivered to the costomer.
