All US bound air travellers are required to have a valid passport or a NEXUS Card when travelling by air. The commissionaire's booth maintains a log of items that are reported lost or found. Please check with the commissionaire for items lost or found in the terminal building. Every effort is made to return items to their owners. Unclaimed items will be periodically disposed of by donating those items of value to charitable organizations. Keys, credit card, debit cards and calling cards will be destroyed.

For items left on the aircraft, contact the airline.

Full Body Scanner - The Charlottetown Airport has been chosen by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) to use the new technology of Full Body Scanner (FBS) imaging. Passengers selected for secondary screening have the option of choosing the full-body scanner or a physical search.  The FBS system works by generating images of the body without contact between the screening officer and passenger. The enhanced technology has been developed to allow for the detection of items which may be concealed under clothing.
